From Canaan Loop road we can catch this Forest Service “track” down the hill and almost to Ilam House – fun little run.

We headed out the door, into the Nat. Forest woods adjacent to the house, bushwacked along the hillside, and emerged on Canaan Loop road. About 3″ of fresh powder on a firm 12″ base – 15 degrees and little wind in the woods – perfect!
